EAM’s fully certified and trained Mechanical Design Team members use ACCA Manual J® Residential Load Calculation Procedures, the accepted industry standard, approved by ANSI, for the proper sizing and selection of HVAC equipment in residential homes.

The Team takes load calculation information as the foundation to design a residential duct system using ACCA Manual D® best practices. EAM’s professional staff can design constant volume systems and zoned, variable air volume systems, over the full range of duct construction materials.

The final output of either Load Calculation Reports or Design Drawings can be sealed by our Engineer associates for permit approvals in the following states:

• Connecticut; Delaware; Maryland; New Jersey; New York; Pennsylvania; and Ohio

EAM also provides equipment research and verification of efficiencies and associated capacities as needed for permit approval or as applicable for Program incentives.
